Shokupan is known as Japanese sandwich bread, and is widely known as fluffy and light bread that goes with coffee, sandwich and even by itself. It is slightly sweet, but not too much. With the same token, marupan has similar flavor with convenience of on-the-go.

 

Who loves eating fresh and tasty bread? Who would like to satisfy picky-eaters without feeding them too much sugar? Who would like to try something new? Who minds eating bread full of preservatives that does not grow mold for weeks or months?

 

We do. So I started baking Japanese shokupan, which we now call Porter loaf. My husband and our kids no longer eat store-bought bread. Afterwards, marupan/ Porter bunz were introduced to my family for more convenience in the morning. I stock our freezer full of Porter bunz and Porter loafs on the weekend (we keep them in the freezer for freshness: there is no preservative in our bread). Though they disappear within the next 2-3 days.

 

A while ago, I also started giving my bread out as gifts to those who we appreciate in our lives in our community. People love it so much that they started asking me to sell them publicly. So here I am offering my service to those who want to try our bread;) Complying with our customers' numerous requests, I made my home-baked bread available to purchase and reserve online, so when you come pick them up, they are freshly baked just for you!

 

Our business is local, and there is no third-party delivery service such as USPS, UPS, and FeDex at this time. For pick up, please call or email about your order, and let us know the exact day and time of your pick up. We are open M-F 6am-6pm with appointments, and our number is 619-609-8753. You can order online 24-7, and all you've got to do is to wait for our phone call and pick them up fresh the next day!
